Magazine Cover Download
Instructions
You have the artist's permission to download copies of the
covers for your own personal enjoyment, but they may not be used
or sold for profit of any kind! They may not be used in any kind
of publication whatsoever without the explicit permission of
the artist in writing.

For downloading purposes, the covers are all 592W x 744H
(pixels) PDF files which equates to approximately 8.222"
x 10.333" for printing.
In order to print any of the magazine covers, there are
two things you need to do. The first is to have Adobe Acrobat
Reader installed on your computer. Acrobat Reader can be
downloaded for free from Adobe's website. Click here to go to Adobe's
website and download Acrobat Reader.
The second is to have your printer ready to print with
the proper paper, since the downloaded PDF file cannot be saved
to disk.
Consult your printer manual for selecting the proper printer
settings for your particular printer brand and model, taking
into consideration the kind of paper you are using.
For best results, I suggest that you use a premium photo
quality glossy inkjet paper and set your printer resolution to
720dpi (or higher). You may also use a non-glossy paper if you
desire but make sure that it is rated for 720dpi resolution.
If you try to use regular standard-grade inkjet paper, the results
will be rather poor because the non-coated paper absorbs too
much of the ink and gives you a faded resulting image. 720dpi
paper gives a much brighter and sharper image by far. Also, you
might want to stay away from the bargain-brand glossy papers.
I had been using Epson Photo Quality Glossy paper on my Epson
Stylus Color 600 printer and have had excellent results with
it. Then, the store I frequent ran out and I tried Champion brand....
the results were very unsatisfactory! (Sorry, Champion,
but I calls 'em as I sees 'em!)
After you have installed Acrobat Reader and set up your
printer, you can click on the magazine cover link in the left-hand
column of this page for the cover you want to print. This will
automatically start up Acrobat reader which will download and
display the cover on your screen. This process may take a bit
of time while the download takes place. The page may display
a blank white page with the PDF file's URL in the blue title
bar - this is normal. Due to the size of the PDF files, your
screen may stay like this for some time - be patient.
When the file is done downloading, the cover image will
be displayed and the Acrobat Reader tool bar will appear at the
top of the page, above the cover image. To print, click on the
print button in the Acrobat Reader tool bar. (The button on the
far left.)
